The birthplace of the Reitzel group, the Aigle site in the Vaud canton is where Hugo Reitzel founded his company in 1909. Specialising in condiment production, this factory manufactures vinegar-pickled vegetables, gherkins, salad dressings, chilled sauces and vinegar. A key player on the Swiss market, this production unit, which is continuously being modernised, has also developed products for export.
The Swiss factory manufactures a very broad range of products. It is a genuine 3-in-1 factory that produces pickled products, a wide variety of sauces and vinegar. This complexity requires tight control over supply chain flows and a healthy dose of flexibility and forward-thinking.
The Swiss factory generates 54% of its volume with sauces and 46% with pickled products.

Christophe Costa has been in the company since 1986 and has held the position of factory director for almost nine years.
