Located in Bourré, in the Loir-et-Cher département (south of Blois), our French factory specialises in the production and packaging of jarred condiments: gherkins, capers and onions.

Since joining the Reitzel group in 2000, it has continuously increased its production and modernised its production facilities.

It has two activities:

Production of over 20 million jars of food for the own-brand products of French hyper- and supermarkets, other industrialists and exports.

Sales for the Jardin d’Orante brand in retail and e-commerce.

A word from the factory director:

Christophe Gudin has been the factory director since 1999. A trained engineer, he has worked in various posts, from the Research & Development to Industrial Divisions, in several food processing factories.

When was the quality control process introduced?

The first certification dates back to 2003 but the quality control process began earlier, when a quality manager was taken on in 1999.

What is the most recent good practice introduced?

The recycling of our juices with vinegar in the methanation unit of the Beauval Zoo.

What are your main projects for 2015?

Accelerating our production line (14000 jars per hour).

Rehabilitating a part of our factory’s grounds.
