Zey-Tur-San

In 1985, Zey-Tur-San produced the first pasteurised condiment in Turkey at the famous village of Gedelek, in Bursa. In 1990, Bernard Poupon met Tamer Ersoy and Turgay Tufekcioglu, the company’s founders, and the two businesses became partners.
Today, the Turkish factory produces 8,000 metric tons of brine products, pickled foods and condiments for the national and international markets.

From planting to exporting: tightly controlled production

“70% of our vegetables come from Turkish farmers with whom we have signed contracts. Berrak produces 30% of its requirements in its own fields, in the Bursa region. We are also very proud of having obtained the ‘Good Agricultural Practices’ certificate in the framework of the Global G.A.P. programme.

Our products are manufactured in our brand-new factory in the village of Gemic, right next to our plantations.

In Turkey, Berrak products are sold in big-name national stores such as Migros, Tesco-Kipa and Metro, and in most small local stores. Internationally, Berrak products are sold in many countries such as Germany, Russia, the UK, Azerbaijan, Syria, Egypt, Israel, Canada and Japan. Berrak products are chosen for their Turkish flavour which is particularly popular in Middle Eastern countries”.
