A hundred-year-old company, Reitzel has always preserved a ‘Taste for balance’ based on three aims : satisfying our clients, motivating our employees and achieving the best possible profitability. These efforts to strike a balance are now focused on a sustainable development approach in our company. From agricultural production to renewed relationships with our distributors, we are committed to improving the very concrete aspects that underpin our organisation: transformation, logistics, waste management, human relations policy, quality, research and development, organic products, involvement with NGOs.
At the start of the 21st century REITZEL’s ambitions are to ensure our values are up to date, that we are attentive to innovation, to the demands of customers and the inhabitants of the countries in which we operate and that we are responsive to environmental and societal challenges.
We involve all our staff and partners in this progress: we at Reitzel are realists and subscribe to the art of the possible and the « Taste for balance », as we did in the past and we do today. Rather than making broad statements of intent, we set ourselves objective goals and targets and are committed voluntarily to regularly report on the results of our activities. This commitment to information has created the first edition of REITZEL’s annual Sustainable Development Report to which all our sites and businesses contributed.
My thanks to all of you who helped to create this report.
