Special attention is paid to safety, health and hygiene at all the Reitzel Group's plants; all are certified to the BRC Food Safety standard and the majority of them to the IFS Food.

The safety design of each plant meets the legal requirements of the host country. Each site’s system operates autonomously in accordance with the framework defined by the Group’s management. Through training and information, security and health protection are an integral part of the way that every employee works.

A Group-wide team called QTEAM brings its managers together twice a year to :

  • define common rules and disseminate good production practices in factories
  • help quality managers find solutions to complex quality problems
  • monitor performance / share skills and experience

Reitzel has implemented a rigorous policy of monitoring and control of raw materials, thus ensuring full product traceability. Our quality system is based on a rigorous HACCP approach, guaranteeing our products’ food safety.

Quality is of constant vital concern for the Reitzel Group. We make every effort to satisfy our clients’ requirements and thus improve food safety in our industrial processes (decreasing the amount of glass broken on production lines, controlling air quality and temperature in sauce production plants).
