Water consumption: commitments at all our production facilities

Reitzel India : - 25% in 3 years

Following a study of the ways in which we use water, we set working targets and implemented economy measures such as usage optimisation and implementing closed loop systems.

Reitzel Briand : - 11% in 3 years

Process water - excluding that used in recipe products - is used for production cooling downstream of the pasteurizer and for cleaning. As regards cooling, water is used in closed loop systems. Our facilities cleaning contractor is now also helping us meet our consumption targets.

Reitzel Suisse : - 8% in 3 years

Following accurate readings of consumption linked to the quantities produced, we have listed all the processes that use water and have targeted those capable of making the greatest potential savings. This translates into a Year 1 Action Plan, a reduction of 4%, i.e. 50% of the overall goal.

CSR is a process with the aim to embrace responsibility for the company's actions and encourage a positive impact through its activities on the environment, consumers, employees, communities, stakeholders and all other members of the public sphere who may also be considered as stakeholders.
